Of course, we had to track down the fashion district! The Savannah girls trip that my friend April and I had was a fantastic weekend of sightseeing, eating great food and shopping...not shocking, I know. One of our first stops after arriving was Broughton St and walking from boutique to boutique. We naturally stopped in the Marc Jacobs boutique where the employees made you feel like you were browsing through a Marc Jacobs Summer fashion spread. The wall of willies was tempting to say the least.

We meandered down to satchel. It’s a leather boutique owned by SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) grad Elizabeth Seeger. Her studio creates unique designs for leather accessories, handbags and wallets. She also boasts great prices and the ability to custom-make any of her designs in the color of your selection. I may have a beautiful red wallet in works (squeals of delight).

We then hit up Copper Penny which is an upscale boutique that carries brands from Trina Turk to BCBG, and the girls who work there are amazing. Of course, that was the location for my next fabulous selection. I fell in love, love, LOVE with a gorgeous red pea coat. Red was apparently my color for this trip. Not only did it fit amazingly, but they held it for me till the next day so I wouldn’t have to carry it around whilst sightseeing in rainy 95 degree weather.

If I do say so myself, Savannah is an underestimated fashion nook. Who knew such fashion jewels were nestled in this little southern city?
