Jimmy Choo has long been viewed as one of the top designers in the world of women’s shoes with his stunning designs and unmatched comfort. Choo aficionados may recall there was a time when the brand was gentleman friendly. The brand abandoned the men’s line back in 2002 but is choosing to step back into the men’s world with the introduction of his line of footwear from leather biker boots to sneakers to traditional loafers according to the Telegraph, a UK publication.

Tamara Mellon, Jimmy Choo’s Chief Creative Officer, explains the “Jimmy Choo man is one who exudes confidence and style whether he is an artist or an investment banker.” She also admits that shoes are one of the first things she looks at on a man. I’m sure many other women can relate. This new line is being launched following the successful H&M Jimmy Choo collaboration from late 2009 which included men’s and women’s shoes.

Ladies, this may be an investment that is mutually beneficial. Perhaps making him a Jimmy Choo addict will allow him to walk in our shoes...and understand the “need” for more Choos! Would that mean we’d have to share more closet space? On second thought...
