During a recent Google session, I came across a unique website whose big push is helping new Moms connect with jobs that fit a family-comes-first vision.  Mom Corps was the brain child of Allison O’Kelly who had children after launching her successful corporate career. Juggling time at the work place with family turned out more difficult a transition than she expected. However, she did know her family was a priority, her career was a desire and employers were still in search of talented employees. And, Viola! She developed the plan for a very successful business which is now a franchise.

The closest franchise location is right in our backyard- Miami, FL. The Regional Owner is Dixie McDaniel de Andrade who previously owned an international consulting firm and now the mother of twin baby boys is a franchise owner of Mom Corps. Andrade knew a good thing when she saw it! O’Kelly was able to gross $1.3 million, according to, in her first year. That’s a lot of diapers, my friends.
